I was so lucky to recieve an early copy of Highland Hideaway by Lily Gold to review!
Lily Gold is an absolute favourite author of mine - the queen of writing very naughty why choose romances without them being dark, and with tons of plot, chatacter growth and heart to balance out the spice! She literally has everything you could dream of and Highland Hideaway was no exception!
We follow our FMC Summer, an influencer who has lost her way, herself, and has a bit of a wobble that results in her being unfairly cancelled. When she arrives at a luxury spa resort in the Highlands for a brand trip, she's turned away and has to find new accommodation for the night, and what does she find but a little air b&b on a farm run by three insanely attractive, single scotsman 😍
The journey these 4 go on together is incredible. I loved the ADHD representation we got with summer, the incredible growth between Cameron and Alec, Fraser's openess with his mental health, it was honestly just so much growth and healthy coping mechanisms and LOVE mixed in with the ol' classic DP 😂 even if it took a while to get there. (The growth, not the DP 😂)
I was also so locked into the farm plot, and honestly cried at the support from the villagers! Its not often a filthy why choose romance brings tears to your eyes, but like I said, Lily Gold has everything!
