June Wrap Up

June Wrap Up

What a month!
June was absolutely magical ✨️
If you're following me on socials you will have seen I got to go and see Taylor Swift live on her eras tour in Wembley on the weekend of the 22nd with my best friend Alicia. This was my second time seeing Taylor - the first time was at Hyde Park in 2015 to celebrate my 21st birthday, so it really felt like all the stars aligned that I got to see her again in London for my 30th birthday too!
I spent most of the month preparing our lovely new website, new labels and new candles - and I finally got to launch everything on June 24th!
June 24th is Midsummer's Day and my birthday, that's how my little shop got it's name! My wonderful mum came over with some cake and lovely gifts on the day, but I didn't do much else other than launch the website! I couldn't have chosen a better way to ring in this new decade, this clean slate for the business and this new well of hope I have in my heart than with my lovely little Midsummer Child community 🩷 thank you so much for your support, dear friends.
I also started a new personal project this month, not for anything or anyone other than me, I purchased a nice thick spiral bound notebook and I have plans to write in it every week of my 30th year. I think it'll be so cool to look back on when I'm old and grey.
